Apple offers a data online backup and file-sharing service called MobileMe that has been around since about 2002. Backups are done through a utility called iDrive (not to be confused with IDrive the Online Backup Service). MobileMe integrates seamlessly with Mac OS X, though you need the latest version to use MobileMe. You can also share files, which include picture galleries that can be easily administered online, and sync files between computers. There’s a 1 GB limit on document sizes, but this is more than most other onnline backup services offers. Although, we have had some issues uploading large files with serivce timing out before file is uploaded.
Apple’s relatively new online data storage, backup, and sharing service gives you a on the house 60-day trial of 20 GB. After that, it’s gonna cost you $8.25 per month (or $0.41 per GB). Additional storage will cost you $2.45 per GB. Features include mobile access (iPhone and iPod Touch only), a 200 GB bandwidth limit, desktop clients for Windows and Mac systems, and the ability to access, manage, and sync your email (Microsoft Outlook for PC, Mail for Mac), 
your address books contacts, calendar (iCal for Mac), photos, and files at me.Com. Support is extremely sufficient including FAQs, tutorials, forum, email, stores and phone.
PC Magazine’s Michael Muchmore noted, the service is geared more towards iPhone and iPod touch users who can sync updates to iCal the Mac OS calendar program, Address Book, Mail and other Mac OS X applications within seconds. Other operating systems, including Windows XP and Vista, are synced every 15 minutes to every hour. MobileMe is a bit more expensive than other services (*est. $100 per year for 20 GB and up). Reviewers ungenerously admit that if you’re a Mac user and use applications like iCal and Address Book a lot or want to share files with friends and relatives, MobileMe is the most elegant and seamless to deploy.
All and all Mobile Me is a very nice service with the Apple name, and very good support (very important to some folks), Otherwise, its services can be found cheaper elsewhere.
